HOMS is a series of vignettes, which are like poetic prose, if that makes sense. It is also very beautifully done. I read as a frosh and hated it until Junior year whenI learned to appreciate it

Their Eyes Were Watching God is more of a novel. It takes some time to read though because it's written in southern black dialect.

Went to see The Great Gatsby. The second half of the movie was great, but the first half was stupid because they chose to use modern day shitty hip hop music instead of music from the 1920's.

The one who was killed last night in a shootout with police was 26. They're still hunting for Suspect #2. He's 19 years old.
